Designed for: Anyone needing the holding power of a #8 screw, but can't live with the hole any larger than a finishing nail.

This unique woodworking screw is simple to use and very cost effective at creating a tight bond where the final finish is critical. With the Counter Snap system you actually achieve the maximum results with the smallest possible disruption to the repaired surface. As the Counter Snap fixture automatically snaps the specially designed screw shaft -5/64- of an inch below the floor or counter surface. Counter sinking is never required and concealing the tiny hole requires only the smallest amount of appropriate filler.

Each Counter Snap kit contains one Depth control fixture and 25 specially "scored" screws. Additional screws are available in packs of 50 and 250 pieces. Truly this is another innovative "worksaver" offered by ATCI.

The Counter Snap screw is truly easy to use and is the first screw ever designed to nearly disappear once screwed in place!

To use..you simply insert the screw into the center of the Counter Snap control fixture and secure in place using an ordinary power drill. The specially designed  fixture will automatically stop the screwing process once the scored portion of the screw is exactly 5/64" below the surface.

The stress on the screw caused by the drilling process will automatically cause the top portion of the screw to break off. Thus leaving you with a hole about the size of a regular finishing nail. To complete the job just apply a small amount of wood or specialty filler to conceal the point of entry. It doesn't get any easier than this for securely bonding 2 surfaces together without messy large holes.
